Organize your Scholarship search - some links and sites to help you.

Are you a naturally organized person? Then read no more.

But if you are like me, sometimes (or always) you may need a bit of help.

Here are some organization and help sites to enable you to keep good records and files. It is especially important for you to do this if you are actively applying for scholarships. You must keep track of deadlines, get possible essays done on time, etc.

Plus (horrors!) you don't want to do the same work twice.

Here are some sites and links that I find helpful. I hope they help you, too.

Pinterest - my Organization Pins - "Cleaning and Messie Sites and Pages"

The FlyLady website and The FlyLady on Facebook (for Messies - - much organization advice too)

Fastweb and Monster have joined forces. Also: here is the FAFSA deadline link.

Sometimes I am very tempted to register on Fastweb.

Here is their new signup page that combines with Monster, which is a great job-finding service.

The Fastweb and Monster Sign-up Page

Just register here, and Fastweb/Monster will let you know what scholarships match up for you.

I think if I did not have about ten projects going right now, I might sign up. For everyone who is going to school, or thinking about it, this service is FREE and easy to do.

Plus it is very individualized. Also, filling out your FAFSA is also a good idea if you are thinking about school in your future.

Good luck, everyone!

Here is a great article -- about Internships, plus some other related articles.

You will like this article. It is Your Sure-Fire Guide to Becoming a White House Intern.

And I love the way Yahoo lists their related articles. There are good ones here.

Here is one:
"RELATED: The 'Black Swan' Intern Ruling Could Change Unpaid Internships Forever"

and one about Google internships,
RELATED: Google Internships Really Are as Perfect as Hollywood Says.

Interesting stuff. If you have some internship, scholarship, or grant links to share, just contact me or list them below.

Thanks!

E-Internships are available via the VSFS - Virtual Student Foreign Service program

Here is an interesting opportunity on the U.S. Department of State website.

It is the Virtual Student Foreign Service (VSFS) Internship Program.

Interns work remotely with different U.S. government agencies on "extraordinarily interesting projects" with many agencies.

Note the application deadline is July 20th, 2013.

You can find out more here:
U.S. College Students Can Apply July 2-20, 2013 for Virtual Student Foreign Service eInternships.

I think when I was in school, this would have interested me a lot. I wonder if they accept nontraditional students who are not in school. Hmmmmm.... but probably not.
