U.S. scholarship sites and .org sites are sites full of quality information

Quality searches for scholarships - - where to look first.

Personally, I would look for scholarships first at the school you are thinking of attending. Donors have unique scholarships available for students at their schools, and you may find these at the school by applying and discussing options with an advisor there.

Government scholarships are searched automatically when people fill out a FAFSA form, and also can be found by searching for .gov and org sites.

Some of the biggie government information sites for scholarships and grants are:

Student Aid on the Web

The Nursing Scholarship Program from HRSA

Scholarships, Financial Aid and Student Internships at the Dept. of State site

FedMoney: a free .org site

The Federal Cyber Service scholarship info.

Grants.gov - find and apply for federal grants.

The Fulbright Page

USAJOBS: Working for America

Know more good U.S. government scholarship or grant sites? List them as a comment. Thanks!
