Here are a few quality links and sites for people who would like to go to school and learn about interior design. They are sites to explore. I tried to skip all the for-profit sites that only list their own courses or lesser quality sites.

I notice that there are a lot of scholarships offered at many schools for this area of study. This is a short page of all that is available.
