Some good Athletic Scholarship links (version A)

Athletic Scholarships in the U.S.

Are you considering applying for a athletic scholarship? You may already have been told by others that you should. And it doesn’t hurt to find out.

Have you checked with the schools you most are interested in? That would be a good first step. But you will also need some good links to explore. Just scroll down to find those.

Here is something I ran across today that I didn’t know. It is from Wikipedia: “An athletic scholarship is a form of scholarship to attend university awarded to an individual based predominantly on his or her ability to play in a sport. Athletic scholarships are common in the United States, but in many countries they are rare or non-existent.”

I didn’t know that!

Here are some quality sites to get you started on a search to find out more about athletic scholarships:

The College Scholarships.org page on Athletic Scholarships
This site provides advice too, not just links.

The FinAid page on Sports Scholarships

The Scholarships.com Athletic Scholarships page
There are some good links here after the article.

Loyola Scholarships (New Orleans, LA)
